Are high fiber foods futile for a lean body?

I am a 19 years old athlete who is quite ‘fit’ with a weight around 135 pounds and height of 6feet 1inches. I want to get a lean body, thereby, I have stopped eating high fiber foods. Nonetheless, I have started feeling quite inactive and exhausted after a short duration of exercises, which is quite unlikely of me. I want to know if this lethargic feeling is a sort of attribution due to leaving high fiber foods. Could someone please suggest what should I do now, as I need a proper guidance and advice for my diet? Thanks.
