What all high energy foods can I consume before exercise?

Lately I have started to feel quite exhausted after strenuous workout. I drink ample of water, and eat healthy food, but still I feel inactive for a while after exercises. I want to know if there are any high energy foods which I can consume before starting with my exercises, so that they would help me feel active even after workout. I would be grateful to you if you guys can suggest me of some useful high energy foods. Thanks.
