I was extremely bored of the sodas, sugary juices, ice-tea and was desperately looking for an alternative. When I got to taste fruit infused water at a friend’s home, ah that was a refreshing change.

Fruits or vegetable slices can add magic to water. This will make you consume more water, which would help you detoxify. Elimination of toxins from the body along with providing vitamins and minerals to the body is the double advantage of fruit infused water.

Once or may be twice in a year. What I mean to say is that you will not be able to follow a Detox plan every day.

Consuming the fruit or vegetable infused water can be done on a daily basis. Preparing them is a piece of cake, they taste refreshing and supply nutrients to our body. Consume more of infused water to make the toxins exit your body. Here are some options to try from.

Water infused with strawberry and cucumber

You need 6 to 8 ounces of strawberries and ½ cucumber medium sized (thinly sliced). Put these in a jar and pour two liters of water in it. Close the lid of the jar and keep it in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. The more you keep the better will be the infusion. Discard the solids and serve with ice.
