Well, Iâm receiving Georgia food stamps fund and few days back I went to the welfare board for applying for Medicaid for myself. Iâm seeking pregnancy Medicaid as my earlier one has expired recently. They didnât approve my application saying that my husband is getting VA benefit and Iâm unemployed. They also decreased the amount of my food stamps from 399.00 to 122.00 a month for 3 people i.e. me, my husband and our 3 month old son. Why did they do so? Can you tell me the criteria for Georgia food stamp funds including my problem? How can I protest this? Please give some valuable suggestions?
