Chef Shane is not cooking seafood this time he is tossing up a complete seafood salad with “cooked rice, ham, crabmeats, seasoning and the red wine vinegar”. This is yummy.
Chef Shane has given due credit to the creator of this recipe – Neiman Marcus. He might have also taken it from the Neiman Marcus cookbook. While being a meal in itself, this casserole could have been perfected with more salad plants and seafood sans shell, like salmon, tuna, and catfish . Tossing the entire casserole with mayonnaise could have made imparted a creamy flavor.
However, the salad is healthy and is open to changes – that is the best part of any creative recipe. Thanks Chef Shane
