Can I try cacao and tia maria to bring variation to gin?

What combinations can I try to make some godly drink with gin? I’m like a bit of malt fan myself. But I also like creating cocktails that taste nice enough for an average female like me. Can I try cacao and tia maria to bring variation to gin or with another liquior or tequila for a winter kick. What do you suggest?
