I am a Spanish guy, but then I don’t know how to speak in my dialect from the beginning I have been speaking English. So, Spanish is more or less like a foreign language for me. My mother has kept a Spanish maid at our house whom she got with her from Spain. Sometimes when my mother goes out, I am unable to communicate with her as she only understands Spanish. At such times when I feel hungry, I am unable to convey my thing to her. What do I call food in Spanish so that she understands that I need to have food?
