Is there any way of making baby food healthy?

My baby is 10 months old and I am in a fix regarding food, which I could feed him. My mom-in-law has advised me to ensure a balanced diet for him right from the beginning for his health. Are there any ways of making baby food healthy? I would like to know about a few baby food recipes, which can be fed to my 10 months old child? Can anyone also tell me if fruit yogurt is a healthy option to introduce to my baby? I would be really grateful to you if you can help me with an appropriate advice! Thanks.
