How can I play with the frozen margarita mix by replacing the grand marnier or cointreau?

I want to have my regular margarita drink recipe with a different texture. I want to explore it and have it on the rocks, but I want to replace the triple sec, grand marnier or cointreau with a splash of the frozen margarita mix. What do you think about my idea of mixes? Can you show me how to go about the whole thing and achieve what I want to because although I have the idea I don’t know how to solidify it in reality?
