Are all the ingredients important for the pakistani cooking recipes?

I made the peshawari kebabs and to my astonishment it did not taste the same. I don’t understand why? I think I have left out on some of the ingredients because I know that the method was the same as earlier but still to be on the safer side I think I should make it from the scratch again. What will you suggest? Will you share the complete recipe along with its ingredients, all of them, with me? I tried the net but it was different on the various sites that is why I couldn’t decide on which on is the authentic and the right one.
