How can I experiment with the vanilla frosting recipe apart from the lemon drops or the lemon zests?

I love how the warm water detail makes the vanilla frosting easy to make. And I love the resulting texture too, it is great. But apart from the regular vanilla frosting recipe that we housewives normally have with ourselves, are there any different variations to it that I can try? I don’t want to try the lemon drops or the lemon zests. Can you suggest some other new techniques and ideas that I can experiment with and how?
