Whole wheat bread, peanut or almond butter and cinnamon.

Process

Take 1 big slice of whole wheat bread. Spread the peanut or almond butter over it with a knife. Take an apple and cut it into slices. Place these slices over the bread. Sprinkle some cinnamon over it. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place this bread slice in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or till the apples becomes soft. Serve hot.

2. Waldorf salad

Yogurt, mayonnaise, parsley, honey, lemon juice, salt, pepper, apple slices, walnuts, grapes, celery, lettuce leaf, and cinnamon.

Process

Take a bowl. Add yogurt, mayonnaise, parsley, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix these ingredients well. Add apple slices, walnuts, grapes, and celery. Keep in refrigerator for 15-30 minutes. To serve take a lettuce leaf and add this salad over it. Sprinkle some pepper and cinnamon over it. Serve immediately.

3. Beet and apple salad

Slices of apple, celery stalks, shallot, beet, brown sugar, walnuts, olive oil and salt.

Process: Take a bowl. Add slices of apple, sliced celery stalks, and minced shallot. Take 1 beet and slice it very thin just like matchsticks. Add it into the bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, walnuts (chopped), olive oil (2-3 tablespoon), salt (according to taste), and pepper. Keep it in refrigerator for 10-20 minutes. Serve chilled.

4. Skillet granola apple crisp

Butter, granola, flour, sugar, apple slices, lemon juice, and sugar

Process

Take a pan or skillet and keep it on medium flame. Take 1-2 tablespoon of butter and melt it in skillet. Now, add 1-2 cups of granola, flour (1-2 tablespoon), and sugar (1 tablespoon). Cook till sugar is dissolved. Remove them from skillet and keep them in a bowl. Now, take the skillet and toss apple slices, pumpkin pie spice, lemon juice, and sugar (1 cup). Cook for 10 minutes or until the apple slices becomes soft. Add flour (1 tablespoon) in it and cook for another 5 minutes. Now, pour this mixture over the granola in the bowl. Place this bowl in oven which is preheated to 350 degree F. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Serve when warm.

5. Baked apples with fennel

Apple slices, butter, fennel seeds, sugar, salt, onion slices and pepper

Process

Take a bowl and mix softened butter, fennel seeds, sugar, salt, and pepper. Take 4 apples and core them from inside. Grease them with butter from outside as well as inside. Take melted butter and use it to grease the baking dish. Take onion slices and keep it in the baking dish. Keep the apples over the onion slice. Preheat the oven to 425 degree F. Place the baking dish in oven and bake for 425 degree F for one hour or till the apples becomes soft and golden brown in color. Serve when warm.
