1. Pumpkin protein shake

Apart from serving as a Halloween decoration and as an ingredient for a tasty pie, pumpkins can also be used to impart a tasty flavor to a dull protein shake. Making this shake is an easy process and for the purpose, you can use either canned pumpkins or fresh pumpkins. In a blender, do mix the pulp of half a pumpkin or half the contents of a canned pumpkin, along with half of a frozen banana and half a cup of almonds. The protein content of the shake is to be provided by adding a single serving of whey or rice protein and 1 cup of soy milk to the ingredients in the blender. The mixture is to be blended thoroughly until a thick, smooth and creamy consistency is reached. You can thicken the shake or make it more thin by varying the quantity of soy milk added. Transfer the pumpkin shake prepared to a tall glass and sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top, before serving.

2. Fruit and vegetable protein shake

In order to prepare a tasty protein shake which is loaded with nutrients, you can try using a combination of various fruits and vegetables. For preparing the shake, you will have to mix together half a cup of frozen pineapple, half a cup of beets, around a quarter cup of flax seeds, one cup of soy milk and a serving of whey protein powder. The thickness of the shake can be varied by adjusting the quantity of soy milk, blend the ingredients to form a creamy protein shake and serve it in a tall mug by adding some shaved chocolate pieces as toppings.

3.Mocha shake

Coffee lovers can get their share of proteins by preparing a mocha protein shake. To prepare the shake, add 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder to 1 cup of soy milk in a blender. This mixture is to be then blended with a solution which is prepared by dissolving 1 tablespoon of coffee in 1 tablespoon of hot water. Blending this mixture will give you a protein shake with a rich frothy consistency. This coffee protein shake is the best when served chilled. Those of you who love to take your mocha with toppings can sprinkle some chocolate chip cookies, chocolate shavings or cinnamon powder on the top of the shake.

4. Peanut butter protein Shake

If you are a hard core peanut butter fan, then why not give your protein shake a peanut butter flavor? To prepare this versatile protein shake, you will have to mix together 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter with 1 scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder. Add 1 cup of soy milk and 1 cup of crushed ice to this mixture, and blend it together in an electric mixer until the mixture achieves the desired consistency. This chilled protein shake is to be then pored into a tall glass and can be decorated by using chocolate or cinnamon toppings.
